海峡ゆめタワーの駐車場から出た途端、視界いっぱいに現れたその姿に驚きました。周囲の建物に遮られて下関市内からは意外と見えにくかったタワーが、目の前にドーンと現れ、その大きさには圧倒されます。

30階の展望フロア
高速エレベーターで約1～2分で30階の展望台へ。上昇中は窓外の景色を楽しめ、ゴルフボールを半分にしたような独特な形の展望フロアに到着します。
この日は関門海峡花火大会が2日前に終わった後ということもあって人も少ないようでした。
The 30th-floor observation deck can be reached in about 1-2 minutes via a high-speed elevator. 彦島
北九州市も当然見えますが、個人的には夕日が沈む彦島（下関市）周辺の湾が非常に綺麗でした

海峡ゆめタワーの展望室は高い位置にあるものの、スカイツリーの圧倒的な高さを改めて実感しますね。以前、スカイツリーを訪れた際、ヘリコプターに乗っているような感覚を味わったことを思い出します。
ちなみに、海峡ゆめタワーから近い”火の山公園”で夜景を楽しむ人も多いようですね。こちらは250m以上の標高で関門橋を撮影したい方にオススメな場所です。
